Greylisting - Like it or Not??

Post by adrastosefa »

Does anybody use the grey listing feature that was built into EFA v4/5? We used it a few times and while overall I like it, to many of my customers complained about the delay, caused by the inadequacy of administrators to configure all aspects of a mail server, i.e. dkim, spf, dmarc.

We use greylisting as it eliminates quite a lot of traffic. However I have to admit that I do go through the mailwatch interface every day for maintanance. I would be happy to have a more comfortable possibility to select entries, like wildcards, filters...

Yes, same here. It worked a bit, but customers complained about the delay, so I am not using it anymore.

50/50

I like it but users complain. We leave it on in general, and then whitelist the domains they complain about ie banks sending the login code or pwd reset.
